Regarding the training, the intern participated in an onboarding session with me as their supervisor. The orientation introduced the intern to Suburb Talks’ mission, content strategy, audience demographics, and current projects. The intern has been and will continue to be trained on the digital platforms and tools used for content creation, social media publishing, and media production. This includes working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Patreon, Frame.io, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

The intern meets with me weekly to review progress on their current projects, such as editing, filming and formulating ideas for content. During our meetings, feedback is given and any questions are answered regarding the tasks given. The goal of this internship is to provide students with meaningful exposure to digital media production, content strategy, and audience engagement while developing practical skills that complement their academic studies.

As the intern's main focus is advertising, this is giving him the creative freedom with supervision to help continue to build the brand and reach further audiences.
