Teen Summer Camp Intern - Eureka! Summer CampAt — Girls Incorporated of Orange County

Opportunity Summary

The Eureka! Intern will assist in daily activities during the Eureka! Summer Program for incoming 7th-9th  grade girls.  ___________________________________________________

Eureka! is a hands-on, girl-focused approach of the Girls Inc Operation SMART (Science, Math and Relevant Technology) Program, which has a 50% focus on intentionally exposing young women to career paths in mathematical, scientific and technical fields. The remaining 50% of the program also encompasses our Social Emotional Learning and personal developmental curriculum that meets the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional needs of adolescent girls. Topics include healthy boundary-setting techniques, foundations for healthy relationships, confidence-boosting techniques, health and nutrition, and so much more. These well-rounded combination activities are facilitated by dynamic women on a school campus for four weeks. The Eureka! approach enables girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold®. Eureka! helps to empower them to thrive in areas important to their present and future selves, and compensates for gender discrimination and other barriers girls too often encounter.
