Sports Management and Marketing InternAt — Goal-Line Performance - The Sports Complex

Interns will assist our Athlete Managers and Sports Performance Director in implementing sales, marketing, management, and facility operations in a fast-pasted, dynamic sports performance facility.

Task:

-Works alongside Athlete Experience and Facility Manager managing day-to-day operations
-Manages daily athlete check-ins and facility flow/logistics
-Assists with scheduling, sales, and POS
-Coordinates communication between athletes and sports performance coaches 
-Organizes and manages data to show athlete progress and drive engagement 
-Assists with maintaining facility organization and cleanliness 
-Observes sports performance programs during training sessions of various ages, skill levels, and protocols
-Adheres to The Sports Complex’s dress code and behavior requirements

Training:

Interns will be trained under the Athlete Experience and Facility Manager, starting with day-to-day facility operations, athlete management, and sales, then moving on to bigger picture operations and marketing tasks and projects. Interns will spend the majority of their time with the Athlete Experience Manager as well as some time in the gym observing our sports performance programs to gain understanding of the product. Interns will have three 6-hour shifts at the facility weekly, for a minimum of 18 hours per week. Interns will receive updated learning objectives every two weeks and have progress check ins at the end of every other week with their supervisor.

Learning outcome:

· Assist with planning and execution of sports camps, events, athlete profiles and promotion campaigns.
· Coordinate with athletes and our facilities on logistics and communications
· Help manage POS, sales database, schedules and project timelines
· Support the development of marketing materials and social media content
· Conduct market research and analyze trends in athlete engagement and expand our partnerships
