OCRM Intern - ProgramsAt — Orange County Rescue Mission
The Case Management Intern participates in a hands-on, immersive learning experience within a comprehensive, faith-based, residential, back-to-work program. Interns support the Case Management team while gaining practical exposure to whole-person care, including social services, recovery support, life skills development, and spiritual mentorship.
Key Responsibilities & Participation:
- Build rapport with program participants through daily interaction
- Shadow Case Managers and observe one-on-one meetings
- Assist with documentation including SOAP notes
- Learn internal systems (Mission Tracker, Outlook, Google Sheets)
- Support Medline operations and compliance procedures
- Participate in program activities, roll calls, and group programming
- Observe policies, safety procedures, and program structure
