Opportunity Summary 

Need for an intern to help with one or more and not limited to the following; develop a taxonomy for the terms of engineering process specifications, exploration of using RAG models in ontology development, or similarity comparison. Final SOW will be determined at a later time.

Tasks:

Working meetings for training and to accomplish goals
Documentation of findings and recommendations
Executive Report-Out on Intern Experience and Progress
Further develop previous AI Hackathon prototype to explore:
Semantic tagging of additional collections of process specifications
Semantic enrichment expansion to other Process Writings
Potential for expansion to also suggest refactoring changes for other collections or other Process Writings
Potential to participate in AI Hackathon (will depend on hackathon scheduling)

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship, the student will be able model a Digital Process Specification in a pre-defined knowledge graph representation.

By the end of the internship, the student will understand enterprise document management, including Boeing’s product definition impacting specifications and standards.

By the end of the internship, the student will understand semantic data engineering. The student will be able to describe the taxonomy and ontology for Digital Process Specifications in the One Boeing Product Standard collection.

By the end of the internship, the student will have experience developing and testing AI prototypes in the Aerospace Industry
