Studio Operations Intern (Summer)At — MBS Media Campus

Work with studio operations answering phone calls and taking messages. Work closely with studio facility departments. Work with grip/lighting and stage managers spending some time on an active working stage.

Tasks:

Work with studio operations team to understand the day to day operation. Work closely with stage managers to understand basic studio etiquette, policies and procedures. Intern will be taught stage safety. Understand grip and lighting rental business operation working closely with grip and lighting crews on stage.

Training:

Intern will receive training and spend time with several studio department heads. VP of Production Operations will spend time with intern on a weekly basis to help understand how the film and tv studio business operates. Will also spend time assisting with mail and interacting with studio tenants.

Learning outcome:

Understand nuances and etiquette of working on a an active sound stage. Learn how a studio operates from an operational point of view. Learn the in and outs of studio based grip and lighting rental business. See how the studio interacts with its tenants whether it be a production or office tenant.
