Our 7-week Summer Internship is designed to provide a hands-on, classroom-based introduction to the financial services industry. This program is ideal for individuals interested in exploring a career in financial planning while gaining a strong foundation in core concepts, strategies, and real-world applications.
Schedule:
- Duration: 7 weeks (June 19-July 31)
- Days: Fridays only
- Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Throughout the internship, participants will gain insight into the fundamentals of financial planning and the philosophies that drive our approach. Each week focuses on a different aspect of the planning process, including:
- Financial planning principles and client-centered strategies
- Budgeting and saving techniques for short- and mid-term goals
- Investment basics and accumulation strategies
- Overview of key financial accounts (e.g., IRAs, 529 college savings plans)
- Risk management and long-term planning concepts
- Our firm’s values, mission, and approach to helping clients succeed
Tasks:
Interns will collaborate in teams to apply what they’ve learned by building a comprehensive financial portfolio. On the final day of the program, each group will present their portfolio, demonstrating their understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies.
This program offers a structured, educational approach to internships in the financial services industry. Rather than focusing solely on administrative tasks, we prioritize learning, development, and exposure to a potential long-term career path. Our goal is to introduce motivated individuals to the profession and identify those who may be a strong fit for future opportunities.
