Additionally, the intern will assist in setting up new bookkeeping accounts by organizing financial data, establishing account structures, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal procedures. The intern will also support month-end and year-end closing processes, reconcile bank and ledger accounts, and contribute to improving workflow efficiency by documenting procedures and suggesting process enhancements.

These duties require critical thinking, attention to detail, and the application of accounting concepts, ensuring that the majority of tasks are professional in nature and appropriate for college-level internship credit.
