Opportunity Summary 

Preschool Teacher internship. This role provides hands-on experience working with young children in a structured classroom setting.

Training

During the preschool internship, students will receive a structured combination of orientation, mentorship, and hands-on training to support their learning outcomes. The experience begins with a mandatory general employer orientation covering workplace policies, child safety procedures, and classroom expectations. Interns will participate in job shadowing with experienced teachers to observe effective classroom management and instructional strategies.

Ongoing support includes weekly one-on-one meetings with a mentor teacher to review progress, discuss challenges, and set goals. Interns will receive guided practice through assigned tasks with clear context and expectations, along with access to sample lesson plans and classroom materials. Additional training may include workshops on early childhood development, behavior management, and curriculum planning, as well as brief readings or training materials with informal assessments to reinforce key concepts.
