Opportunity Summary

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves opportunity for someone who’s excited to learn, create, and contribute to story-driven design work in a collaborative studio environment.

As a Graphic Design Intern at Storyland, you’ll support our creative team in developing visual assets that help communicate ideas, shape experiences, and bring concepts to life. From presentations and pitch decks to branded materials and environmental graphics, your work will play a real role in how stories are told - both internally and externally.

Our type of work is a little different than traditional graphic design.
We imagine, design, and create immersive environments - theme parks, branded spaces, museums, and community-driven projects like churches. That means design here isn’t just about making things look good, it’s about helping tell a story in space. You’ll be supporting work that connects narrative, place, and human experience in a meaningful way.

You’ll be surrounded by a multidisciplinary team of designers, storytellers, and creatives who are passionate about what they do and invested in helping you grow.

  • Jump in where needed - this is a team that collaborates, adapts, and supports one another
  • Take feedback in stride and use it as a tool to grow your skills and confidence

Guide and grow (with support)

  • Work alongside experienced designers and creatives who will mentor and guide your development

  • A collaborative, low-ego mindset - you’re excited to contribute and grow as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • You’re a senior in college, or a recent graduate

Bonus points if you have…

  • Experience with presentation design (PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar)
  • Familiarity with branding systems or environmental graphics
  • Interest in themed entertainment, experiential design, or storytelling in space
