Remote Music Industry Internship: Graphic Design InternAt — FanFlex
The Graphic Design Internship will support the creation of visual branding, marketing materials, and digital content for FanFlex. Come be part of a music and technology startup working to change the live music landscape. Stretch your creative skills while building real-world experience creating graphics for artists, venues, and a growing technology platform. Throughout the internship, you'll develop portfolio-worthy projects while learning modern design workflows, including the responsible use of AI-powered creative tools.
Remote Learning Experience:
- Intern will communicate with their supervisor via Zoom for feedback, collaboration, and training.
- Intern must have a computer with a reliable internet connection and access to industry-standard design software and social media platforms.
- All required internship duties will be completed remotely.
Tasks:
- Create weekly graphic content for social media, website, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Design promotional graphics, concert posters, event announcements, artist marketing materials, and educational/tutorial graphics.
- Serve as a creative partner in identifying the best visual solutions to communicate FanFlex's brand and messaging.
- Utilize AI-powered creative tools, when appropriate, to assist with concept development, image generation, layout exploration, copy ideation, and creative workflows while applying strong design judgment and maintaining brand consistency.
- Prepare graphics for web, social media, presentations, and other digital distribution channels.
Training:
Interns participate in weekly virtual team meetings with professionals actively working in the music, events, and technology industries, along with weekly one-on-one meetings with their supervisor.
In addition to team meetings, interns participate in department meetings (typically Tuesdays) and optional office hours (typically Thursdays) for additional mentoring and project support.
Because AI is rapidly transforming the creative industry, interns will receive guided exposure to a select group of AI design and productivity tools. The focus will be on learning how to responsibly integrate these technologies into professional creative workflows while continuing to strengthen traditional design fundamentals.
All FanFlex internships are designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience that benefits both the student and the company. Whenever possible, projects will be tailored to help interns build skills in areas they are most interested in developing.
Learning Outcomes:
- Create professional graphic content for company marketing and social media campaigns.
- Design promotional materials, concert posters, one-sheets, presentations, and branded assets for artists, venues, and FanFlex.
