Training:
General onboarding with HR and accounting
Weekly one to ones with Controller as well as Director of HR on feedback for events.
Work side by side with HR in setting up quarterly employee engagement event/team building. Sit in on interdepartmental meetings as well as with other departments. Reviewing feedback of previous events to create a new event.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to apply industrial psychology principles within the accounting and human resources departments. They will be able to plan team building events and increase employee engagement and morale. They will also be able to gather feedback for the event as well as after to analyze the success of the events for future events. They will be able to successfully interact with numerous departments to collaborate on projects.
