We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Spanish/English) Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic clinical team. This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered outcomes.

Tasks:

- Students will be working closely with a physical therapist to help their patients execute their treatment plans.
- Students will educate and instruct patients on prescribed exercises.
- Students will ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to care plans.

Training:

Students will be trained on what therapeutic exercises are used and how to cue them with patients. Students will also be trained to communicate effectively with a physical therapist about the patient's condition, modifications, and proper execution of the treatment plan.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional training. They will be able to educate and instruct patients on prescribed exercises. Students will also be able to monitor patients' progress and accurately document services.
