Tasks:

• Deliver Tier 1 Interventions
• Build positive relations with staff, students and families
• Help plan, coordinate and observe the elementary counselor deliver classroom lessons
• Actively assist in planning and coordinating school wide activities and spirit week for all staff and students.

Training:

• Observation/Shadowing
• Actively assist under supervision

Learning Outcomes:

• Learn about effective classroom management and strategies
• Learn how to deliver classroom lesson and school wide activies for all staff, students and families.
• Understand how to build positive relationship with staff, students and families..
• Learn how to plan/coordinate school activities and workshops.
