Position Title: Event & Wedding Planning Intern (Academic Credit)

Internship Type: Unpaid Internship for Academic Credit

Duration: Minimum of 120 Hours (Additional hours available based on academic requirements)

Schedule: Flexible based on school requirements, business needs, and event schedule. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays are required for event participation.

This internship is educational in nature and intended to provide meaningful hands-on learning opportunities while allowing students to apply concepts learned in the classroom.

Internship Description

The Event & Wedding Planning Internship provides students with hands-on exposure to operating a successful event planning business from initial client inquiry through event execution. Interns will gain experience in business operations, event planning, wedding coordination, marketing, client relations, design, logistics, inventory management, and on-site event production.

Physical Requirements

This internship may require:

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Lifting and carrying décor and rental items (up to approximately 40 pounds with assistance as needed)
