Opportunity Summary 

Script Coverage, Phones, Scheduling and understanding Agreements with Clients and studios. 

Tasks:

The Intern will demonstrate their learning outcome by working directly with agents and clients on script coverage and giving feedback on script outlines, One pager and 2 Pagers. They’ll understand how to properly communicate with executives at studios and with clients. They’ll learn how to schedule meetings, roll calls, answer calls, and input industry related info into our data grids.

 

Training:

The job shadowing will consist of watching me schedule meetings, answer phones and roll calls for the agents as needed. Script coverage.  They also get to directly speak to the agents about agreements, listen to important phone calls to take notes on how to properly approach an executive at studios and Production companies.

 

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship the students will be able to understand the agency inside and out. They’ll know the clients, our workflow and understand not only what a great script looks like, but what a bad script looks like. This will also help with their writing as they’ll learn the dos and don’ts. They’ll know how to sell a writer like an agent would. They’ll understand the WGA minimums and Expectations inside of agreements.
