Behavioral TherapistAt — First Step Children's Network

Student will work under the supervision of a licensed Behavior Analyst and program manager to deliver direct aba therapy to individuals. Student will implement individualized behavior treatment plans, run skill acquisition programs, and execute behavior reduction protocols. Student will also collect real time data, maintain session notes, collaborate with caregiver training, and prepare the immediate environment to ensure cleanliness and safety for each individual.

Training:

Student will receive training while working on site, within clinical meetings, and receive behavioral skills training by receiving instructions, models, rehearsals, and feedback.

Learning Outcomes:

\n

The student will be able to accurately implement client specific skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans, develop accurate real time clinical data collection, implement functional communication and de-escalation strategies, apply ethical and professional standards in practice, and effectively implement ABA with children and their caregivers.
