Classroom VolunteerAt — Edward B. Cole Academy

The job will include observing classroom teacher in various activities. The job also consists of helping students as needed in a one to one or small group setting.

Student will have the following duties:
observe mentor teacher, reflect with mentor teacher, work with students one on one or in small groups

The student will receive training in the following areas:
general orientation, job shadowing, one on one mentor meetings, provision of work samples

By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to have a better understanding of the different areas a teacher needs to plan/prepare for.
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to add a couple of strategies when working with students.
