Student Services & Operations AssistantAt — CSUF - Project Rebound

The Project Rebound Media Intern will assist with creating digital content that highlights Project Rebound’s programs, events, students, and community. Responsibilities will include taking photos, shooting and editing videos, creating social media content, and assisting with other digital media projects. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation, video production, photography, editing, and social media while helping share the mission and impact of Project Rebound.

Learning Outcomes  

Create and edit engaging video content for social media and other digital platforms.
Apply basic photography and videography techniques when documenting Project Rebound events and activities.
Develop social media content that effectively communicates Project Rebound’s programs, events, and mission.
Demonstrate professional communication, time management, and collaboration while completing media projects.

Training  

Provide hands-on training and guidance on Project Rebound’s social media, photography, video, and content needs.
Provide opportunities to attend and document Project Rebound events through photography and video.
Review photos, videos, and edited content with the student and provide feedback for improvement.
Provide guidance on appropriate and professional content when working with students and representing Project Rebound.
Meet regularly with the student to discuss assignments, progress, upcoming events, and goals.

Tasks/Duties  

Taking photos and recording video at Project Rebound events, programs, and activities.
Editing photos and videos for social media and promotional use.
Creating short form video content, including reels and event highlights.
Assisting with planning and developing creative content for Project Rebound’s social media platforms.
Organizing and maintaining digital photo and video files.
Working with Project Rebound staff to complete media projects and meet deadlines.
Applying feedback from the supervisor to improve photography, videography, editing, and content creation skills.
