The district covers approximately 347 square miles and consists of four comprehensive high schools and one continuation high school in four separate communities, each having a rich history and unique cultural identity. Several of the high schools are geographically isolated and are considered small necessary high schools. For example, Happy Camp High School with 60 students is the District’s most remote school.

Six Rivers Brewery

Students are allowed to work on business management projects, including marketing campaign strategies for this site. Students may visit the site to observe operations and conduct these activities. However, students may NOT directly work with/serve alcohol, or conduct any activities that contribute to direct financial gain: i.e., no alcohol sales/cash handling are allowed (however, work on payrolls, tax returns, bookkeeping are ok).
Six Rivers Rafting

Activities with this group may include paid employment and unpaid intern tasks. For more information, contact site staff. Students should be aware of the following:
- All activities guiding groups on hikes/raft tours will be paid.
- All activities around customer payments (taking cash, credit cards, etc) will be paid.
- Most rafting trips launch from the Junction City (38400 CA HWY 299) location on the Trinity River and float down to the USFS Big Flat river access; additional trips launch from the Big Flat river access down to the USFS French Creek river access. Rental boats/gear are managed out of the Willow Creek (39008 CA HWY 299) office. The only hike guided tours meet at the Junction City location, then drive to the Canyon Creek Trailhead in the Trinity Alps Wilderness.
