Organization Description

The Mini-Corps participants are assigned to provide tutorial services to migrant children throughout San Diego County.  

Program Information

The tutors work as teacher assistants placed in classrooms. They provide direct instructional service to migrant students. They can work from 10-17 hours per week. Moreover they act as a liaison between the home and school since they have to conduct six (6) home visits. The tutors are bilingual role models for migrant children.
