Program Information

-Supervise youth fitness program and youth participation
 -Update community resource directory
 -Assist youth with community events, set-up, break-downs, and "man" booth
 -Mentor youth regarding personal issues and questions.

The student will be working in a community center, a building open and available to the public. This may result in the student working with person with mental health disabilities, clinically ill, as well as any other member of the community.

  • CPR Certification
  • Driver's License
  • First Aid Certification
  • Must be 18 or older
  • RISK: Students may be working with behaviorally challenged populations.
  • RISK: Students may be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior.
  • SAFETY: Students are NOT PERMITTED to take photos or video while on site.
  • SITE LOCATION: There have been incidents of criminal activity at the organization or site(s) within the last year.
  • SUPERVISION: Students may be required to work at night (after 6pm).
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
