Organization Description

The Cal-TASH organization supports practices that promote our resolution that all people, regardless of their label or perceived level of disability, should have the supports they need to direct the course of their own lives, and to live and participate successfully in inclusive schools and communities. 

Program Information

On going needs include support with website development and social media. Special projects include the annual conference. Support is needed with registration, organization, audio-visual support, distributing and collecting evaluations. and helping to "host" special guests. If film or history students interested would love to record "oral histories" at the conferences. Many individuals have been involved in the disability right movement and have important stories to share. 

Opportunities: Support advocacy work by helping to organize visits to local state legislators, assist in planning annual conference, working a conferences, organize local events
