Alisal Center for the Fine Arts (ACFA)

The Alisal Center for the Fine Arts (ACFA) offers dynamic internship opportunities for students interested in cultural arts, community engagement, and professional skill-building. Interns contribute 3–5 hours per week within ACFA’s evening program hours (Mon–Thurs, 5–9pm) while gaining hands-on experience in the nonprofit arts sector.

Our Fall 2025 internships include:

• Social Media Manager Intern – Develop digital content and outreach strategies to showcase ACFA’s programs and community impact.

• Documentary Film & Promo Video Production Intern – Capture and edit video content highlighting our students, artists, and cultural events.

• Live Music Production Intern – Support sound, stage, and event logistics for student recitals and community performances.

• Assistant Teaching Internships – Work alongside ACFA teaching artists to support youth in:

  • Visual Art (drawing, painting, exhibitions)

  • Guitar (mentorship, rehearsal support, performance prep)

  • Theater (acting, improvisation, stage production)

  • Folklórico Dance (choreography, costumes, cultural traditions)

These internships blend technical training, artistic practice, and community service. Students gain valuable experience while contributing to ACFA’s mission of empowering youth through free cultural arts education.
