Arts Council for Monterey County (AC4MC)

Organization Description

The Arts Council for Monterey County's mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in Monterey County through the arts. Since 1988, the Arts Council for Monterey County has provided arts-based learning opportunities for children through our Professional Artists in the Schools program (PAS). We offer visual arts, dance, storytelling and theater to 5,000 children annually. The Arts Council also supports organizations by providing grant opportunities and resources.

Our goal is to expand the arts to the North County and South County areas. The Arts Council also provides after-school instruction and curriculum that will help to integrate the arts into other disciplines.
