Program Information

Gonzales High School is one of the true gateways of the Salinas Valley "Salad Bowl of the World". GHS strives to provide students with the key educational needs that will help them achieve their future endeavors. We accomplish this by combining heavy use of technology in the students day-to-day to encourage them to have a competitive advantage in our ever increasing technology centered world as well as giving students the fundamentals using the Gradual Release of Responsibility Model (GRR) which is defined as: a "style of teaching which is a structured method of pedagogy framed around a process devolving responsibility within the learning process from the teacher to the eventual independence of the learner."
