Organization Description

Interim is a private non-profit organization with 18 facilities in Monterey County serving individuals with psychiatric disabilities.Services include housing,outreach case management,family support programs, homeless assistance,etc. Placements available in Salinas, Monterey, and Marina.

Interim, Inc. is the only agency in Monterey County that provides affordable housing, residential treatment, social support, homeless outreach and support, family outreach and supported education, and employment services for adults who have serious mental illnesses.  Our mission is to provide services and affordable housing supporting members of our community mental illness in building productive and satisfying lives.

Program Information

Students will assist program staff with all services for clients including support services for homeless clients. Seniors can develop a resident handbook on housing, develop and implement support groups, and work on community projects for all MCHOME clients. May attend staff community meetings, and educational workshops on a a variety of topics for clients. Services of Community Housing Program include safe and affordable housing for residents with psychiatric disabilities who live in the community. Case management and support services are available.
