From our district's beginning with 9 students in a house, we have grown to almost 9000 students and 800 staff members at 14 elementary schools.     

MISSION

The Mission of the Salinas City Elementary School District is to provide a well-rounded education with multiple opportunities for all students’ success.  

VISION

We expect all children to be at or above grade level.

Program Information

Los Padres Elementary teachers, staff, in partnership with parents and community, will establish a nurturing environment to prepare and motivate all students to achieve academic excellence. All students will be provided with quality instruction and the academic, social and personal skills necessary for success to become life long learners in moving towards college and career readiness in the 21st century.

 This school has a dual immersion program: Bilingual Spanish/English education. Additive language model.

Health & Safety

All service learning students will be required to have a TB test and Fingerprinting prior to starting their service hours.
