This will afford students an opportunity to gain first hand knowledge of the cultures, communities, strengths and challenges these youth are struggling with in their lives at school and beyond. As a result students will have an opportunity to formulate social justice and social equity strategies designed to not only strengthen and empower the students/youth with whom they work, but the families and communities from which they come as well.
