Los Angeles Team Mentoring (LATM)
Organization Description
The mission of Los Angeles Team Mentoring is to guide middle school students growing up in challending urban enviroments to recognize and each their full potentioal as members of our community.
Through our teamworks program, which used a school-based team approach to mentoroing, youth adolescents are given the tools and support necessary to make positive choices during a critical period in their lives
Health & Safety
Additional requirements and/or considerations - Be 18 years or older
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass and submit a negative TB screening
- Pass a phone interview screening (appointment will be given at the completion of the online training)
- Provide two personal references
- Complete a 2-hour online training
- Complete a 3-hour in-person training
- Attend all 30 TeamWorks sessions for the year, and periodic Saturday field trips
- Adhere to all program policies and procedures
Under specific circumstances, high school mentors may be admitted as mentors in our program. Please contact us for additional information.

Mentoring takes place on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00
