Casa Esperanza's mission is to empower the families of Blythe Street neighborhood to be self-sufficient and create their best possible future.

Health & Safety

A physical requirement is that volunteer be able to interact with the children in programs like Taekwondo and youth exersice class. Volunteers may also occasionally need to move and or lift items (no more than 35lbs.)

Hours of operation 

Currently our center operates M, T, W, F 10am - 6pm, Th 10am - 7pm There are occasional night and weekend hours of operation for things such as meetings, field trips, and/or events. The program coordinator will e-mail a monthly calendar, at the beginning of each month, to all volunteers and let them know of any night and weekend hours that they may choose to volunteer for.
