The Wildlands Conservancy: Eel River Estuary Preserve and Seawood Cape Preserve
Organization Description
The following two sites are approved for Service Learing and Academic Internship placements:
- Eel River Estuary Preserve: 770 Russ Lane, Ferndale, CA 95556
- Seawood Cape Preserve: 2265 Patricks Point Drive, Trinidad, CA 95570
Health & Safety
On "in-person" activities, 90 days prior to start date, students are required to complete LiveScan/TB test. After start date, students must complete Pediatric CPR trainig. Students will be reimbursed for all costs associated with above tests/training. Due to the outdoor nature of hte site (no paved roads, not ADA), students must be able to walk on uneven wet terrain for a minimum of 3 miles, pull and push up to 30 lbs., and have adequate sight and hearing.
