Yurok Tribe Early Childhood Education Center

Organization Description

When considering placements with this site, cultural sensitivity and openness to working with Native families and staff is a must. Experience with at least one Native American Studies course, or equivalent cultural experience, to be determined by Yurok learning site representatives, is preferred.

The Eureka Early Childhood Education Center is the only site approved at this time; students planning to place at the Klamath site, please contact the Center for Community Based Learning at ccbl@humboldt.edu.

Health & Safety

This site may require a combination of a Live-scan, required vaccinations, and/or a TB Test. Please ask your instructor and your site supervisor about these requirements. Proof of these will need to be submitted to your site in order to start your placement.
