Organization Description

To motivate children to want to read for pleasure, to make sure children have access to books, reading and writing materials, and music theory and instruction. The neighborhood is primarily Hispanic with African Americans.

Program Information

Bowen Memorial UInited Methodist Chruch provides the Summer Enrichment Program- Provide reading opportunities and assistance.; Math games to improve math skills; Musical instrumental lessons and theory lessons; Nutrition classes; Life skills lessons-conlfict resolutions and studey skillls; Structured outdoor activities; Science experiments; Arts and Crafts
