Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is located near the Mission and close to downtown Santa Barbara. At the Museum, visitors of all ages can enjoy interactive exhibits on natural science, local ecology, and the living world around us; interact with Museum Educators on topics related to our permanent and seasonal exhibits, and participate in live, interactive programming in our Museum Backyard. The Museum is an engaging, interactive educational facility that allows visitors to discover the fun in science and the wonders of the natural world.
Students may park in front of the building, then check-in at the front desk. Virtual volunteer opportunities are also available. Training and orientation will be provided.

POPULATION SERVED
- Students will be working with school groups, visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and may be working with clients with cognitive, behavioral or physical differences.
- Must be 18 or older
Open everyday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day
