Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History inspires a thirst for discovery and a passion for the natural world. At the Museum, visitors of all ages can enjoy interactive exhibits on natural science, local ecology, and the living world around us. The Sea Center is a small aquarium and marine education facility offers guests hands-on encounters with life from the Santa Barbara Channel. On the Wet Deck, guests experiment like scientists by using oceanographic tools to sample the ocean and examine life below.
Students may park in front of the building, then check-in at the front desk. Virtual volunteer opportunities are also available. Training and orientation will be provided.

POPULATION SERVED
- Students will be working with school groups, visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and may be working with clients with cognitive, behavioral or physical differences.
- Must be 18 or older
Open everyday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day
