Program Description: Mission Family Center is an outpatient mental health clinic in the Mission District. We provide comprehensive mental health screenings, assessments and treatment. Issues Program Addresses: Mental health, Substance abuse, Medication management. |
Intern Assignments: Conduct clinical interviews, shadow therapists (assessment process, diagnosis, case management), provide support to group therapy(or perhaps co-facilitate). Introduction to the everyday clinic operations, participate in staff meetings, conduct intake screenings. |
Intern Training & Educational Opportunities: Interns can pariticipate in weekly didactic training from 9:00am-10:30 am which provides a range of clinical topics, including a mandatory City wide intern orientation in Mid Sept. 2016. |
