Program Description:

Ohlhoff Recovery Programs provides substance abuse treatment to adults and adolescents. Programs include a 6-month residential program for working men, a 30-day acute residential program for adults, an intensive outpatient treatment program for adults and adolescents, and a collaborative program with SFUSD Wellness Centers to provide substance abuse education to at-risk high schools students.

Clientele Served:

Ohlhoff serves a diverse client population that include the LGBT community, persons from different ethnic and socioeconomic background, and clients who are involved in the legal system.

Issues Program Addresses:

We work with individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, mental health issues, and trauma history.

Intern Assignments:

Interns are assigned in one of our three programs, 6-month residential, 30-day acute residential, and intensive outpatient programs. Interns will learn how to facilitate groups, provide individual counseling, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and client advocacy.

Intern Training & Educational Opportunities:

Interns will have weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and didactic trainings.
