Program Description: Agency contracts with SF Community Behavioral Health Services to provide assessment, medication management, individual and group therapy, activity groups, case management
Clientele Served: diverse population, primarily of Tenderloin residents, and since our move, now lower Nob Hill. Average age 40-50, more men than women, many with dual diagnoses
Issues Program Addresses: Complex trauma, sustance abuse, homelessness, mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders
Intern Assignements: Interns perform pschosocial assessments, conduct individual and group therapy
Intern Training and Educational Opprotunities: Interns attend our staff meetings to learn more about the workings of the clinic and our in-service training. This is in addition to a weekly seminar on assessment and diagnosis, a trainee case conference, a clinical team case conference, and individual supervision
