Program Information Trium is a global independent production company founded by a trio of successful media executives, Mark Koops, Jared Tobman, and Eric Day. Together, they have created and produced over 1000 hours of television, including blockbusters The Biggest Loser, Masterchef, American Gladiators and Shear Genius; and more than 30 original digital series for MSN and Yahoo!, such as recently-launched Remake America, the 100-million-stream hit Who Knew? and series featuring Cat Cora, Bob Harper, Jack Welch, Carson Daly, and Andrew Zimmern. Trium is focused on partnering with leading networks and brands to create entertainment properties that provide a launchin g pad for ancillary and global licensing businesses.
Television
We have created some of network and cable's biggest hits across all genres – lifestyle, docu-series, game show, and competition reality – and have turned them into global success stories. We have worked with all 5 U.S. broadcast networks and all of the major cable networks, and executed all facets of production for more than 1000 hours of prime time television. Our shows have been licensed and produced in more than 100 countries. By challenging existing business models and paradigms, we have created new opportunities for networks and advertisers alike.
Digital
As leaders in the development of original web series and interactive experiences, we have worked with leading online distributors -- such as MSN, Yahoo, and Xbox Live. We have executed all aspects of content and interactive production, start-to-finish, for over 30 experiences across web, gaming, mobile and social media platforms. We have attracted highly sought after on-screen and creative community talent to develop original digital content across all genres and to reach all demos, and forged long-term, multi-platform relationships with brand advertisers.
Ancillary
To date, we have generated over $200 million in retail sales by creating and licensing products inspired by our intellectual property. Going forward, our primary focus will be to develop intellectual property that is most amenable to ancillary exploitation, in order to maximize the promotional and marketing power that can transform a creative property into a global brand.
Beyond exploiting our own intellectual property assets, we plan to offer our expertise in this area as a business service to the rights-holders of existing IP that we believe can be more successfully exploited.
Advertisers
A core innovation of our business has been building long-term, multi-platform relationships with brand advertisers to re-define traditional television and digital sponsorship models. We have integrated on-camera talent from our programs into branded entertainment programs and unique viral marketing approaches. In addition, we have leveraged our core production capabilities to create in-show integrations and 30-second commercials for our ancillary and advertiser partners, working with them in close concert to integrate their messaging into the program in a seamless way. Finally, we have also launched philanthropic programs in partnership with advertisers to drive awareness and raise funds for issues that we care about.
