Program Information

The CSP Children’s Crisis Residential Program is a 12-bed short-term crisis intervention program for youth ages 13-17 referred by Orange County Health Care Agency Children and Youth Services. The Program provides a “safe respite” and immediate services to teens displaying behaviors or a history indicative of SED, experiencing significant familial conflict, and at-risk of hospitalization and/or out-of-home placement. This is a voluntary program. Therefore, the client must be willing to participate and parent(s) must attend family counseling sessions and visits with their child. The process for admittance is a telephone contact interview with the parent and child. The CSP Children’s Crisis Residential Program’s primary goals are to stabilize the youth and facilitate family reunification.
