Foster Children's Resource Center (Auxiliary Program of the Assistance League of Los Angeles)

Organization Description

The mission of the Foster Children's Resource Center is to provide new clothing, school uniforms and supplies, hygiene products, books and toys, free of charge, to local children in the foster care system.

Program activities include:

Assisting clients (children in the local foster care system from ages newborn-21) as they select new clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, books and toys during their scheduled appointments at the Center. In addition, volunteers help with phone calls, scheduling appointments, organizing paperwork, and sorting and organizing merchandise.

Health & Safety

Students should be in good health as we work directly with children. Students will be trained by experienced volunteers and will follow established training protocols.
