Opportunity Summary

Intern Position Description

Develop a nutrition outreach program for children from underserved communities in San Diego County for the Summer Food Service Program Nutrition Week. Conduct eight one-week courses for children at various sites for the SFSP Nutrition Week Program.

Classes will be interactive, cover different aspects of MyPlate guidelines, and include cooking demonstrations with food tastings. Evaluate the effectiveness of the program through implementing qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
