Organization Description

This is a large camping group site that is used for Geological field trips. The campground site is part of the Inyo National Forest, in the White Mountains areas. The site has campfire ring, picnic tables and vault toilets.   

Program Information

Students will be mapping area around Cedar Flats.

Health & Safety

Be prepared to be self sufficient, extremely dry site. Nearest water, food and gas is Big Pine. Remote area with very limited cellphone service.
