Program Information The Teachers Association of Long Beach (TALB) is the exclusive bargaining representative for over 3,700 teachers, nurses, and librarians in Long Beach Unified School District. We advocate for teacher rights and classroom working conditions so that we can cultivate a better learning environment for over 80,000 students in LBUSD. TALB is also part of the larger California Teachers Association (CTA) representing over 370,000 teachers statewide. TALB provides numerous events and activities to engage with members and the broader community.
