Program Information

NDS Kettlebell Athletics LLC is the 1st commercial Kettlebell Instructional facility of its kind. It was opened in 2007 by a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer and Russian Kettlebell Training specialist for the purposes of teaching the basic principles of injury prevention and proper kettlebell instruction.

Internship Prerequisites:

Student must attend one free 60min orientation about our physical education class before internship inquiry. (Orientation Class times on website). Effective completion of the orientation class and the student's ability to move functionally at the basic GPP (general physical preparation) level will grant entry into the internship program. All student-interns must possess a deep willingness to learn, explore and apply basic and unconventional ways of functional strength and conditioning.

Description of Tasks, Training and Learning Outcomes:

The Student will learn, implement/practically apply and review the basics of functional Bodyweight & Kettlebell (classical-Hardstyle) strength and conditioning including basic bio-mechanical self-analysis of foundational kinesiology.

Safe and Progressive methods of current Corrective and Strength-Conditioning exercises will be discussed and applied through such means as a lecture (instruction) portion before every laboratory practice.

The student will effectively educate themselves about the musculoskeletal system and its function in producing human movement from a functional perspective; the relationship between selected elements of myology and osteology as they relate to human motion.

Every lecture and laboratory time will create an open class atmosphere where group evaluation and precise individual queuing (feedback) are applied based on sound those functional strength & conditioning principles learned.
