Founded in 1911 and having just celebrated its centennial year, it has grown to more than 3,200 acres and moves more than $150 billion in trade per year. East Asia trade accounts for more than 90 percent of Long Beach shipments with the top trading partners being China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
