Program Information

The Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse\r\n(L.A. CADA) is a licensed and certified substance use and\r\nbehavioral treatment provider by the State of California\r\nDepartment of Health Care Services and the County of Los\r\nAngeles Department of Public Health \u2013 Substance Abuse\r\nPrevention and Control. We treat persons with addiction\r\nand behavioral problems by providing client centered,\r\ntrauma informed, recovery orientated services, offered\r\nby a committed, caring and qualified staff of licensed,\r\ncertified and registered professionals.\r\n\r\nL.A. CADA offers critical services across a wide continuum\r\nof care and treatment, including outpatient, intensive\r\noutpatient and residential programs. This full continuum\r\nof addiction care is available for adults, ages 18 and over.\r\nServices to adolescents, ages 12\u201317, in an outpatient\r\nsetting are also available.\r\n\r\nL.A. CADA also offers Drug Education/Diversion,\r\nParenting Education, Anger Management, and Domestic\r\nViolence counseling services, authorized or approved by\r\nthe Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the\r\nLos Angeles County Department of Probation, the Los\r\nAngeles County Superior Court, and/or meeting the\r\nrequirements of the Los Angeles County Department\r\nof Children and Family Services.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, L.A. CADA offers HIV/AIDS prevention and\r\nintervention services, including HIV testing. L.A. CADA\r\nhas funding for some participants eligible under MediCal\r\nand Cal-WORKs, and accepts most private insurance.\r\nAdditionally, all clients are screened for an ability to pay\r\nfor services. Some services are offered free of charge.
