Organization Description

The Museum of Tolerance (MOT) is the educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC), an international human rights organization dedicated to remembering the Holocaust and promoting tolerance and respect for human dignity. The Museum of Tolerance Los Angeles challenges visitors to confront bigotry and racism and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts through cutting-edge interactive exhibits housed in a stunning multimedia environment. 

Progams and Services offered

- Facilitated tours of exhibits: Holocaust exhibit, Tolerance Center, Anne Frank, Finding Our Families Finding
Ourselves.

- STEPS to Tolerance: Age appropriate introduction to Holocaust and anti-bullying for 5th and 6th graders.

- Tools for Tolerance Programs: Law Enforcement, Educators, Teens, Professionals.
Holocaust Survivors' Speakers Bureau.

- Arts and Lectures events - book signing, film screenings, symposiums, special speakers.
Volunteer, Internship and Teen programs
