Organization Description

KACS is a community based non-profit organization that provides social, educational, recreational and other vital community services to the Korean Americans in Santa Clara County. KACS is particularly dedicated to assisting three sectors of the community that are in the greatest need for resources: the recent immigrants, the elderly and the youth.

Program Information

The responsibilities of the intern will include: 1. Monitoring senior program oriented to improve general health 2. Collect data and evaluate the program with data gathered 3. Write a grant about health education and program oriented to improve health among senior. The intern will come to the site everyday and monitor the program for seniors with monolingual capability.
