Organization Description

Circle of Healing is a culturally diverse staff of the Native American Health Center that serves the Bay Area community. We are open to all with a focus on serving the Native community. We provide prevention & HIV/AIDS and HCV services in a caring, supportive, culturally rich, and community-focused environment. Our goal is to offer a spectrum of service from prevention into treatment, which includes education, practical support, coordination of services & advocacy.

Program Information

Work on an offsite outreach recruitment and retention for prevention case management program and with mapping outreach ‘hotspots’ as well as developing a strategic outreach plan. Assist in an innovative digital social media outreach campaign that is at the cutting edge of current HIV Prevention trends using apps like GRINDR. The intern will assist with outreach and retention with clients who inquire about Circle of Healing services via GRINDR.
